Amazon Account Management Checklist

A well-managed Amazon account depends on more than advertising. Catalogue health, listing quality, account health, inventory, fulfilment and reporting all affect daily performance. Use this checklist to identify the parts of Seller Central that need attention first.

Catalogue and listing quality

Review these items before spending more on advertising:

  • Suppressed, incomplete or variation listings that cannot convert
  • Titles, bullet points and backend terms that match how buyers search
  • Missing attributes, images or A+ Content on priority products
  • Storefront pages that do not help shoppers compare the range

Account health, inventory and operations

Account-health warnings, stranded inventory and fulfilment exceptions can limit growth even when listings look complete. These issues should sit on the same weekly list as content and advertising work.

  • Open account-health or policy items that need a client decision
  • Stranded or out-of-sync inventory
  • Order exceptions and customer-service delays
  • Fulfilment settings that no longer match the current catalogue

Advertising and reporting

PPC is more useful when listings are complete and the team already knows which products should receive spend. Campaign structure, search terms, budgets and a short next-action report should be reviewed together.

The first useful output of a Seller Central review is a priority list, not a longer dashboard.
